Great Update by loss of features

I have used this app for years for recording my dreams. Ive come to log my entries manually but since the update it has now made my life more difficult to just try to record & edit what I wrote. My entries dont show anything, & when I find where the text is - it wont let me edit anything making me result in just constantly adding (without being able to remove). I have contacted the Devs about a future design update awhile back & I am glad for it but I feel the mechanics that made me cherish this app have now caused me more troublesome experiences then the initial ease of recording my dreams. Since the update I have been more peeved & annoyed with the app that has disrupted my memory of my dreaming experiences. It has gone from my go to dream journal to have me look for alternatives.
